V8 Non Wing Sprintcars

One of Australia'a hottest new classes, V8 Non Wing Sprintcars provide action packed racing. 

Running a cost controlled LS1 V8 engine, these engines produce 450hp in a car that weights less than 600kgs. Capable of great speeds and spectatcular crashes, this will be one class not to miss.

Pro Modifieds

They are big, fast and noisy!! Pro Modifieds are set to tear up the Avon Valley Speedway in a big way this coming season with big field expected.

The cars can be directly imported from the USA, with slight variations on the UMP rules to suit Australia. Cars are powered by a V8 producing close to 500hp and only run on 8 inch wide tyres. Expect plenty of two and three wide racing all season.

Hornets

An affordable entry level class racing each meeting at Avon Valley Speedway. Hornets are front wheel drive cars with engines smaller than 2ltr. 

With more than 60 different types of car available to race, building a car should cost no more than $3000 including purchase of original vehicle. With stock standard rules minus safety equipment this class will feature close action packed racing.

West Coast Speedcars

One of the sports traditional classes, Speedcars have featured on dirt ovals for more than 80 years. An open wheel chassis mated with a 4 cylinder purpose built race engine. 

A big feature of Speedcars is the variety of engines used ranging from purpose built race engines through to stock production engines.

Winged Outlaw Karts

Based on a kart chassis with a rollcage, these pocket rockets are powered by a 450 cc motorcycle engine. Winged Outlaw Karts race across the US, with many Nascar and Sprintcar stars starting in the Karts. 

The Winged Outlaw Karts will race on the new 230 metre inner track. Providing drivers the opportunity to race on main race nights. New Outlaw Karts are available from $6000.

Junior Winged Outlaw Karts - Coming April 2018

Does your son/ daughter imagine themselves racing a Sprintcar in the future, well get them onto the fast track by joining the class that taught Kyle Larson, Rico Abreu and countless other US Sprintcar superstars how to race.

Winged Outlaw Karts allow drivers from 5 years of age the opportunity to go racing in safe controlled environment.

Unlike a typical kart which provides very little safety protection in the event of an accident, Winged Outlaw Karts are fitted with a roll cage. Also fitted is an alloy race seat with 5 point seat belts and a top wing that provides cushioning in the event of a roll over.

The three junior classes are described below.

Beginner Box Stock – 5-8 years. 
All karts use a 200cc Honda/ Briggs and Stratton 4 stroke engine with restrictor fitted.

Box Stock - 8 -12 years.
All karts use a 200cc Honda/ Briggs and Stratton 4 stroke engine.

250CC Intermediate – 11-16 years (Under 13 must have box stock/ kart experience)
All karts are powered by a 250cc 4 stroke single cylinder motocross engine or 125cc 2 stroke single cylinder motocross engine.

West Coast Outlaw Karts and Avon Valley Speedway are committed to growing the class into the future with racing to begin at the April 7th meeting for the junior classes.
